Walked a mile today for my weight training class mile walk fitness test. I had the best time out of all the girls. All that walking is paying off. Yay, me.
Did some pyramid strength training today with the free weights, Gravitron, and leg press. Pyramid strength training is when you start with the lightest weight you can do, at (for example) 12 repetitions. Increase the weight by increments, but decrease the reps. Then go back to 12 repetitions at the lightest weight size. Thus, the name “pyramid.”
Had an ASL student for 1 1/2 hour after that. Then had some lentil soup, and went off to kickboxing class.
I’m feeling rather blah right now. Must not despair.
*sigh* Back to reality.
